It has swan boat rides and gondolas to cruise around the massive fountain. Lake Eola Park also features huge events like a 4th of July celebration, 5k runs, music and art festivals, and the Sunday Eola Farmer's Market. Publix, Downtown's first grocery store, opened September 6, 2008 in The Paramount and is now a favorite of local residents. Also in progress is Downtown's new Performing Arts Center, with three feature halls.
